So, my friend went to Target to pick up some home goods and I got lost in the makeup isle for about thirty minutes. I wanted to buy myself some stuff since I just got my first paycheck yesterday! So, treat for myself, haul post for you! Also e.l.f makeup is SO CHEAP I thought I’d give it a try.
What I Bought:
—e.l.f. Lip Stain in “Nude Nectar”
I bought this because while looking at lip stain reviews online, everyone said this was pretty good for the price ($2!) and I had been looking for a new stain.
—e.l.f Jumbo Eyeshadow Stick in “Little Miss Thing”
I don’t actually own any neutral eyeshadow sticks, so I thought I’d get this for those days I just wear liquid eyeliner
—e.l.f Eyelid Primer in “Sheer”
The only other eyelid primer I’ve used is Urban Decay, but those tiny bottles go for $20 a pop, so I thought I’d try out a cheaper option and see how it works out. Either way, it was $1 so.
—e.l.f. Liquid Eyeliner in “Black”
I’ve needed a new black liquid eyeliner, so I thought I’d give this one a go.
—Rimmel Scandaleyes Volumizing Mascara in “Extreme Black” // Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner Pencil in “Black”
I’ve been on a bit of a Rimmel kick recently, since their lipsticks were so lovely. They’re a pretty cheap makeup brand for the quality as well. This tube also came with a free eyeliner pencil for the same price, so I thought, hey, why not.
—e.l.f. Eyeshadow “C” Brush
I wanted to get an eyeshadow brush now that I’ve started actually using eyeshadow. The little sticks they give you in the pallets don’t even compare. This one is really soft, too, but only time will tell how it applies. Hopefully well!
—Rimmel Glam’Eyes Trio Eyeshadow in “Summer Chic”
I bought this about a week ago, but I thought I might as well lump it in this haul post. I wanted a neutral smoky eye pallet, and Rimmel’s packaging is so lovely, I thought I might as well buy it! I used it during the week and it was really nice, but I had to use the shitty foam applicator that came with it, so it was a bit difficult. Hopefully it gets better usage with the new eyeshadow brush I bought!
I really need a makeup bag, don’t I.
